1 Who is Kiichiro Yanashita ?
- Kiichiro Yanashita is the translator. He proclaims himself as
the weird translator and prefers to translate
the strange books that the nomal
translators avoid. He also is
thefilm critic. Aside from
Kiichiro Yanashita, he also uses Garth Yanashita as
alias.
Yanashita lives in Tokyo, Bunkyo-ku Koishikawa. But he's afraid of
stalkers and such, so it'll be better to send an
e-mail for contacting him.
2 Who is Garth Yanashita ?
- Garth Yanashita is one of the multi personality of Kiichiro
Yanashita (There's another split personality called Morihiko
Magari). The name is deprived from the famous duo Wayne
Cambell and Garth Argar of the movie
Wayne's World. Every Garth
has his Wayne and Garth Yanashita has Wayne Machiyama.
Wayne Machiyama's real name is Tomohiro Machiyama and he's doing
the magazine editor at YOSENSHA. When Wayne and Garth come
together they'll make the other more stupid, and they become the
super stupid film critic,Fabulous
Barker Boys. Their film review can read in the theatrical
booklet for the 007:Casino Royale and so on.
3 What Kiichiro Yanashita thinks ?
- Kiichiro Yanashita appears to be a polite person. But in his
mind He has lots of unhealthy thoughts. So he likes
subversive things.
Now Yanashita's biggest interest is the
murder. Of course he's not the type
to do it himself (As I say he's a polite one), rather collects
books and articles. You can see it from some of his own writings.
Yanashita also likes subversive literature.
Sci-fi was once a subversive so he
once was a Sci-Fi mania. His favorite novelists are
J. G.
Ballard and
R.A.
Lafferty.
4 Who is Mie Yanashita ?
- Mie Yanashita is Kiichiro's companion in life. Mie
Yanashita is a pianist. Her speciality is the accompaniment music
for the silent films. By far she has played at
Yamagata
International Documentary Film Festival and
National Film Center
Tokyo. Her playing can be heard
almost bi-monthly at Koiwa Library at Koto-ku.
